1965 corvette dash harness & power window harness

About how long does it take to remove and replace the harnesses?

I'd estimate a day to a day to two days depending on what you find and your skill level.

Stephen - James estimate sounds right to me, the only thing that might take additional time is whether any of the other components needs attention like steering column, pedal bracket, dash cluster, console or doors.

Hope you have long arms to unplug the connections from the power window motors. They are a good reach to get to the connections at the bottom of the motor, the ground is at the top of the motor. You will have to push on the lock tap to pull it out. Pay attention to the wiring of which colors goes where. You will be able to tell this when you pull the plug through the door. At that point you will have to separate the wire from the plug to get it through the power window conduit.

Steve i dont know how old you are. I had to repair my dash harness in my 65 last winter and the worst part was plugging all of the bulbs back in. My 64 year old fingers just would not cooperate. This winter i will be back at the dam speaker in my 67 AC car and dred the job. i may end up removing the cluster.
