    Exhaust Tunnel Tube

My 58 AIM appears to show the fiberglass exhaust pipe tunnel tubes at the rear body mounted by some type of "L" brackets with a screw or rivet. Is this correct? Can't seem to find any other reference or part number for the bracket. Any info. will be appreciated.

not sure abuot 58's( although corvette central lists these as applicable to 56 to 58 vets-see cc catalog online for 56-58 exhaust tube tunnel), all of our 57 vets have the pieces bonded into place. no metal fasteners employed . mike mccagh

      Thanks Mike
I thought that because I could find no holes in the body or the tubes where a screw or rivet would have been used.

Agree with Mike. I have 2 still in the box I bought in '65 from Chev and that is what they are like.
