1965 Ignition switch - lamp replacement (help)

Trying to replace the lamp that is in the ignition switch.
I pulled the switch out and have access below the cluster, I but cannot get my fingers into the lamp opening to turn the "tiny" bulb.
Does the lamp socket pop off the housing typical to other instrument lamp sockets? (is so, does it twist off or pry off w/screwdriver).

Advice on best way would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance, Dan

Dan yes the socket pops off of the switch so you can twist the bulb out.
