I have found a lot of varying information on '67 coupe vent window regulators. The one I have on the drivers side is a two ring, 1 3/4" worm gear shaft and when the window crank is put on there is too much gap between the back of the crank and the door panel. What is considered to be the correct unit? Some information says a 3 ring with a shaft length of 1 5/8" for coupes is the correct one. THis would also solve the gap problem. Thanks.

The two ring regulator for '67 is for the convertible. The three ring regulator for '67 is for the coupe. They are available from Zip.

If you are going to try to PV your 67, be careful about what you buy. Most/all? Reproductions have no stop, and your vent window will roate too far and fail.- Top

Incorrect 2 ring were 66 and 67 coupe and conv. 3 ring were earlier conv 1 ring 63 - 64 Coupe With the change in door panels,in 65 the regulators had to be changed as well Apparently GM decided one part is cheaper than 2. The three ring does help with poor reproduction door panel fit. Repos are very nice but as stated earlier they use one internal gear for left and right and they have no stop.
