I've reviewed all of the posts on this matter and have a few other questions. My '65 suffered front end damage, and I believe that the grill area is from a different year car. It came with a 1966-67 grille when purchased.
1. I've read that I should not have the raised area in the fiberglass that's at the top corners of the grill. Is that correct?
2. How many attachment tabs am I supposed to have for the grill? I have the top center one that I know I'm supposed to have; however, 4 additional tabs on the bottom.
3. I have a 2 small holes in the bottom, center just forward of where the square bolt/clip attaches the bottom center of the grill. In addition, I have 2 more sets of these holes with the same spacing on the lower area. Do I need to fill them?
4. I have 2 holes on the rear of the lower area near the attaching tabs. Do I need to fill?
Thanks in advance for clarity in this matter.
