Was the inside of the headlight buckets painted the same color as the body?

The insides of the buckets were not painted at all! Not with anything!

For C3 the outside was barely painted. C4 had a nice finish on the outside. On the inside, expect some overspray with both generations. Don't know about C2 or C5.
