Hey guys, Does anyone know where i can get a one piece oil pan gasket that is black for a small block Fel pro makes one but it is blue?

It's black, just looked at one I have in the package. I used this on a 63.

according to the manufacturer, the product harry posted does not fit a 63 327 chevy engine. nor a 57 283. maybe harry typo'd his post. i didn't check with manufacturer to see if they have one piece gaskets for the early abc's. mike

I chose a Mahle for my 427 but don't have my car judged, so if you go the one-piece route, be prepared to swap the stock bolts for 1/4" longer ones. I was able to force the gasket using the stock bolts but it was a struggle getting the threads engaged.

I just had installed a one-piece Mahle oil pan gasket on my L79 and like Owen says, the stock bolts were too short to feel secure that enough threads engaged. So we used the longer bolts that came with Mahle gasket. The Mahle gasket is just that much thicker than the original GM gasket.

You must be misremembering. My motor was just rebuilt for the first time. With a motor with 82k original miles, nearly everything leaked. Now nothing leaks.
