What's the correct month jack code for a Sep '69 build car? August???

Guys,

I'm looking to source a correct date coded jack for my Sep 69 build and I'm wondering what date code month for the jack is acceptable. Is August OK? What's the typical jack date code for a Sep 69 built car? Thanks for your help.

Jack dates are allowed the same latitude as most other dated items = 6 months. The exception is window glass which is allowed 12 months.

That said, I believe in most cases you will find jacks dated around a month before the car's trim tag date. If the trim tag date is near the beginning of the month the jack might be dated the second month before the trim tag date. Jacks are dated only by the month so the latitude could be wider.
