So... I used my special search method looking for John's info and found it, along with some AMA spec info relative to the F40/F41.

This thread has some good reference information worth reading. Also a good HD suspension article that Bill Mashinter posted.

Perhaps the reason why there is no separate F40 section in the 1965 AIM is because there is nothing unique about installing F40 suspension parts vs. standard suspension parts. The only differences are the parts themselves and not how they are installed? If that's the reason, then all the assembly line would need is the F40 part numbers...not instructions on how to install those components?

WOW . . . when I posted my initial F40 suspension request, I didn't realize that it would bring such an informative and well appreciated response.
Looks like I'll be spending some quality investigating and reading time to better inform myself. Thanks to all . . . .

On a final note, would anyone "by chance" have F40 part numbers that are not shown in our '65 AIMs?
I'd like to at least pencil them in on their respective UPC sheets.
