At a Regional I was asked to OJ for an Exterior team. I'm not sure how many points they had, let's say 200 each. It was awful. It took 2 hours per car. It became apparent they got most of their points in school and not on cars. Why should I give CDCIF guidance to a 200 point judge.

I've seen 100 point judges that have Black hats that have never judged a car, schools only and I think they brag about it.

I don't think the system is broken, some tweaking would help.

I had a good day in Frisco last year when an interior judge, Sheri Demmel, OJ'd with us on 67 exterior. It was very satisfying sharing info with a enthusiastic member, and I believe we both learned a lot that day. Mentoring at its best, and I am still learning from all of you. You won't find a finer NCRS member than Sheri Demmel. She and Bob are great people.
