The Embassy Suites is approaching full with regard to the Lone Star Regional. Queen rooms are already full. If you have a room reservation and do not plan to attend, please turn it in to help others. If you are planning to attend and have not booked yet--now is the time to do it. We cannot secure additional rooms in the host hotel because of other groups in the facility. We have, however, secured overflow rooms at the Hampton Inn just up the street from the Embassy suites. Here is the info for the Hampton:

Posting the car count after Labor Day might help people decide if they are coming or not, that might free up some rooms.

Just a reminder that the Embassy Suites is quickly running out of rooms and because of other conferences we will not be able to add rooms. The alternate hotel is the Hampton Inn located about one block away.

Stayed at the Home2 last year right down the street. Loved it and have reserved again this year. About two or three blocks.

Very convenient to the Embassy!

We have stayed at the Home 2 Suites also. It was nice but it didn't have breakfast if I remember correctly.

The Embassy Suites officially ran out of rooms at the NCRS rate yesterday. We are attempting to obtain more rooms at that hotel, but that may not be possible. The Hampton Inn serves breakfast as does the Home 2 Suites. We have contracted with the Hampton Inn for rooms as mentioned above.

As a followup to Bob's prior note- The Texas Chapter now has two alternate hotels in which we have secured overflow room blocks for the Lone Star Regional on October 20-22nd.
