Would someone please be willing to share some pictures that clearly illustrate where and how these rear caliper brake lines are supposed to exist for a 1967 (with sway bar)? Perhaps pictures from untouched or bowtie cars?
Are they supposed to ride in the tight space above and outboard of the trailing arm (where mine are now)? Are they supposed to ride more out in the open (inboard of where mine are now)? I purchased new brake lines (they haven't shipped yet) but at this point I think I just need to see real pictures of where these brake lines are supposed to be.
Thanks in advance.
Below are some pix of my car's (soon to be replaced) brake lines showing at least 2 points of contact (red arrows) on the drivers side. These are the same brake lines that were on my car when it was delivered to me after the purchase, so I simply presumed they were okay. Now that I know of the contact points, I am uncomfortable with them, I feel they are unsafe (over time), and I want to addressed this issue before bleeding / flushing the brake lines.
