Re: Choosing Restoration Shop

i looked for a couple of years before i had my 67 painted no hit and no other work but paint. First look at the condition of the shop. is it a mess with stuff all over the place? Is the shop vehicle a mess or a truck you would like to drive? can you talk to a couple of past customers ? I found my painter by accident there was a Vette at my local Sunoco and the paint was new and top notch. The owner of the station told me who had painted the car. he only works on 1 car at a time. We spoke and i got in line for my job it took him 4 months and i am very happy with the price and the results.

Re: Choosing Restoration Shop
I have always based my decisions on my many restoration projects over the years on recommendations and direct experience with the restorer. You also want one that provides all the things needed, including painting. You don't want to be the one searching around for subcontractors for the whole job.Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top
