    C5 Corvette 1997

Does anyone have a supplier of fastners for the C5 Corvette. I am in particular looking for the No 15 Torx head self cutting screws for the top of the headlight doors. They appear to be 2cm long with a 12mm floating washer head. Also prevelant are the same dimension fastner with a 7mm socket head. These are found in various parts of the interior.

    Thank you Col Morris 7547

Thank you Ed. Unfortunatly Richard has had to abandon parcels to Australia as he does not have the time to process the paperwork. I had previously purchased parts for my 67 from him

You have tried Chevrolet dealership parts?

For C5's, I find that many of the fasteners and other parts common across the GM family are still available from GM. I use the online stores like GM Parts Giant and GM Parts Direct. They're basically outlets for the GM dealerships to sell parts out of their stock. The good thing is that you can search for parts using the GM part number. If you don't have the C5 parts catalog pdf file, get one. It's indispensable.

If you know which screw on this diagram you are seeking, I can look up the number for you. #2 is already on the bottom of this page. It is part number 11508561 and is still available from GM for $5.54 each.
