Joe Ray has written in the past an article in the Restorer regarding IDing Type 1, 2 and 3 jacks..............my research seems to indicate it may be Vol. 11 #3 but I have no way of downloading info. Tips appreciated. Thank you, Bruce Green

Re: 1963 jack article
Harry Ledgerwood wrote a great addendum for the latest 1965 TIM JG 7th ed.on all three C2 jacks and sub-varieties. Each is photographed and displaced. It is the best description of C2 jacks that I've seen. The new color edition will be available for purchase this month.Region VII Director (serving members in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas).

Re: 1963 jack article
Type I Jack Bearing. I've not seen others on originals. LIC used a NICE 603 Bearing. If the judges look, could be a 20% hit on configuration.

Re: 1963 jack article
As we all know GM and other companies had several suppliers for each product they produced! Certainly bearings were one of those. As I have two Type I jacks and the bearings are not stamped. If it were true that all items used in building Corvettes or Corvette Parts ALL C-2 would have only TR bolts for bumper attachment. As we all know TR, WB, RBC and many others were used during the C-2 period.
