    1959 T10 trans

WB1692 stamped on the milled area where the side cover bolts on.
Can someone tell me if this could be an original trans for a car built 4/27/59?

    Re: 1959 T10 trans

W = warner. B= . 16=sixteenth day. 9 = 1959. 2 is the shift. so stamping interprets as warner get, stamped feb 16, 1959, 2nd shift. the t-10 stamping works just fine for a 4/27/59 corvette build date. mike mccagh
