All 56 OM's were first and second editions and 57's were third and fourth editions. That OM has the correct colors for 1956. May or may not be original. Would need close inspection. 1957 OM's were green and gray covers.

The key photo in '56 & '57 Owner Manuals is the one showing the enter cockpit.

If you can easily see the brake and clutch pedals, it's generally an original. If they're faint or not visible, it's a repop.

I agree. Would not trust this seller. Selling that many owners manuals he should know what he has.
