Owner of the high-end hotrod/custom shop next door to us died recently, and his family had to clear out the shop to make way for the new owners. Among other things we bought was this 327, stated to have come out of a '66 Corvette. Best I can tell, the numbers agree with it being a 300hp 327 for an auto equipped car. The fuel injection set-up is new, the 4 speed is obviously not original to the engine/car. Apparently, the vehicle owner went with an LS swap after doing the FI swap. Just wanting to confirm this is what I think it is. As far as I can tell, the engine WILL run, and we are considering putting plugs, distributor, and carb on it to verify that. Re: Numbers Correct for 1966?
The characters are certainly typical of 1966 fonts, so it is a nice block that has not been decked.- Top

Lot of paint on the pad, but nums look nice....not sure about the broach marks. We're going to try to fire it up and see how it sounds, then try to find someone that needs it beside me!Joel Adams
