1963 Distributor Ignition Shield Refurbish

Anyone have suggestions on proper way to remove the ding that is on top of the shield? (Included photos of sides as well). Local shop in Fort Worth said it would cost more than it is worth -really?

I would probably just clean it up and use it as is, if it bothers you look for a nicer original top shield.

Send a few pictures to stainless restorers. They have a way to fix stainless that I thought was impossible.

I use https://brightworksrestoration.com/ but there are many out there.

I second Harry's recommendation, I have used Steve at Brightworks on a few stainless items and he did a phenominal job!
