Wheel Well Blackout Paint...how flat???

I am looking for some information on what members have been using for C2 wheel well blackout paint. The current '65 judging guide says flat black. I did a test spray to compare the look of the Krylon 1613 semi-flat black along side of my frame chassis black paint and they are almost identical in sheen. I was going to use the Krylon semi-flat black, but I think it should have a flatter sheen than what the chassis black frame paint has.


I am thinking of going with the Krylon flat black for the wheel well blackout.

What have people been using for wheel well blackout paint?

GM #1050104. Long-since GM-discontinued but available in reproduction. Never was and is not now supplied in spray cans, though.
