They are still out there--'57 and '62 race cars

These have languished in a Chicago garage for 50+ years. Owner since the late 60's passed away, and both have been sold. New owner asked me to come in, evaluate, and sort parts. Included in the parts are many RPO 687 shoes, three extra front scoops, 5 extra rear scoops, etc. Both cars have all original backing plates and scoops/ducts intact. No original rear wheel cylinders.
The 62 is just a plain old FI, big brake, big tank car, with original trans and differential. Tank from the 62 resides in the 57 right now, and was modified to have a filler on the right side of the deck lid.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for posting this, neat stuff! Nice to know they are still out there. Any SCCA numbers stamped on the roll bars? Hopefully they will be restored to their last race configuration!
