64 FI B28 Vacuum advance caniter

We're looking for a B28 Vacuum advance caniter, that was OEM on 64-65 FI Corvette's. The alleged coprrect reproductions we found don't meet the correct specifactions (should start @ 3-5 " HG and max 8 degrees @ 8' HG).

Fred - I posted this on the Corvette Forum yesterday regarding the B28 Vac Cannister being sold by RockAuto.
I bought a pair of RockAuto 4V1053 (B28) Vacuum Cannisters a couple months ago and they both tested good.
At 8" both were fully activated. Not a bad deal for under $6 a pop.

Hi Mike, we ordered a 4V103 from Rockauto last week and the canister didn't have a B28 stamp and didn't pass a vacuum test.

Perhaps it was incorrectly box? But I seen other several reports that this problem in common with Rockauto.

FYI Rockauto has a process to return incorrectly represented / wrong parts, however it's too much BS for a $7 problem. As I said we understand this specific issue with Rockauto is very common, and advise if you thought about ordering this vacuum canister for Rockauto is a waste of time & money.

Hi Hank, we're working with Duke on remedying poor idle issues with our 72 LT1. So far the B28 canisters we've checked from Napa & Rockauto didn't pass the vacuum test (per OEM specification)

            Fred,

I have a spare B28 that I bought several years ago that checks out using my Mighty Vac. I can send it to you to try and see if it helps your problem. I’d like it back at some point but at least maybe you can determine if the hunt is worth the effort.

Dan, I believe we've found a NOS B28. Hopefully it will check out correctly (vacuum test). Your offer is greatly appreciated and I may circle back if the OEM B28 doesn't check out.
