1965 Distributor date question - for FI w/TI unit

I am working on my '65 and curious if the date for the distributor could be dated earlier by 11 months from the engine assembly date? (I know that the 250HP FI distributors were all dated '57, since there were so few 250HP FI cars made)

Car is Fuel Injected with TI ignition

My engine was assembled Jan 14,1965 and Distributor is dated 4B25 (Feb 26, 1964).

Dan, Here is partial list of FI distributors built after your 4B25. 4D8, 4E1, 4J2, 4L16 . The next two would not apply to your car.
5B6, 5C7. There could be more dates but that's all Don Baker as complied the last 30 years or so. I have dates before your 4B25. (My list says 4B26)
Now with my NCRS "job" I do not get involved with judging. Just informing you that a ton of FI distributors were built after your 1111064 TI.

My car is VIN #11045 built on Feb 28.
My Original engine stamp is F0212 HN
My 1111064 distributor is dated 5B6 for February 6, 1965.
There were very few L84 cars built with TI.
11 months seems like a long time but never say never.

our 65 FI with TI, vin 5094, a late dec of 64 build.its HN bock cast L-7-4, stamped F1208HN. it's TI distributor is dated 4E7. about 6 months before engine . mike mccagh
