How to apply date on AC compressor foil sticker

Previous owner rebuilt the AC system and applied a new Frigidaire sticker but didn't apply the date on the right side. Is there anyway to do this now with the sticker already on the compressor. I can guess that if you have the right dies it can be done. Need details on this. Thanks.

Buy a new sticker and use an IBM Electric typewriter to add the date. If A6 is original to the car, it will have a date code on the rear cover plate. The A6 assembly date on the foil sticker can be a month or so after that.........and before the car build date.

My 1967 car had a rear cover plate casting date of early December 1966, and a compressor build date of late January 1967. The car itself was built in late March 1967.

Larry, thanks for the great information. I did read other previous posts and one stated that the font was Courier 15pt. I found several IBM Selectric typwriter stamp balls and they are all 12pt. The 15pt measures in height .0283 inches or 5.29mm. Any idea if the stamp on your car is 12pt or larger? Details, details.

My '67 A6 (rebuilt by Dom) has a casting date of B227 (Feb 22, 1967) and an assembly date of May 4. 1967. Dom replaced the original sticker and used the same dates that were on it when he applied the new sticker. Engine was assembled 0602 (June 2, 1967). Car was assembled K14 (June 14, 1967).
