1966 roadster outer side windshield molding "special clip"
Hi all,
After having my car apart for five years, I'm almost ready to get the windshield back in and the moldings on, but unfortunately, I can't remember what the clip looks like that holds the bottom of the w/s post molding to the windshield frame. I've looked through all the miscellaneous clips that came off the car, but don't see anything that looks like it goes there, and I don't recall what that clip looks like. There is evidence of a clip sliding into the molding, and there's also hole in the windshield frame at that spot, so I suspect that the clip in question screws onto the frame like the lower molding clips do. The assembly manual shows it as " special clip" 3843938. Does anyone have a picture of one that I can use in my search?
