'57 Carpet - Romeo or Knoch?

Hi all,

I am stocking up for what I will need on a '57 restoration. I checked Knoch and cannot find '56-57 carpet at all. Do they even make it? I see that Romeo does make it, but I just wanted to see what others thought of the closeness to original for whatever carpet is available.

The Knoch carpet for my 56 that I bought a couple years ago is right on.

I bought a set of red for my '57 from AL Knoch and was close-but no one's are 100%. I was just on the AK site and '57 carpet came up.

A couple of years ago I bought an AK carpet set for my 57 at Carlisle. He had two types, A close but not exact color (cheaper) and a closer to original (lots more expensive).

You will never get the original weave, that left in the 70's. However the available weave today is much better, so concentrate on the color.
