Do you know where I can obtain a core to OEM specs? I'm fine with the plastic tanks.
The one I purchased from Rock Auto is a Spectra and has aluminum tanks.
This is a serious wedge job and I don't share the same level of apathy with Patrick especially when two dissimilar metals would be in constant contact.

I don't know of a source. Even the last available GM cores were not dimensionally to original specs.
