    Double pulley for alternator?

On my 67 L79 I thought I was wrapping up my Borgeson install. I added a third pulley to my harmonic balancer with the intention of having the power steering belt use it. After installing the pump, it's pulley did not align up with the outermost pulley on the balancer. This necessitated shimming the p/s pump forward by removing the two mounting bolts on the front of the engine and adding two thick washers to each. Now it's pulley lines up perfectly.

Today I reinstalled the fan and then went to install the belts. My car has vintage air so I had two belts on the car before this cluster. The inner most belt is for the alternator. When I installed the alternator belt, it rubbed against the lower PS pump mounting bolt, I can switch the alternator belt for the vintage air belt, but this requires that my alternator have a double pulley.

Is there an alternator double pulley? If so, can someone please identify it and point me towards where I can get one?

I was going to remove the old pulley from the alternator so I removed the front nut. I see there is a woodruff key. I assume it is a press fit? Before I try to pry it off, is that how it comes off? Does the fan come with it?

    Joe,
I've been following your install over on the CF. Your latest issue (pulley alignment/belt alignment) is most likely a result of incorrect pulleys at the crank.. The issue with your alternator belt now rubbing the lower power steering pump bolts is a direct result of your shimming the pump forward into the area where the alternator belt normally resides (it's close quarters down there). You don't need a double pulley on your alternator...you need the correct pulleys at the crank. You're adding one problem on top on another...not a good way for a good end result.
I provided some pictures below of my '67 with factory power steering and factory A/C for you to analyze the pulley alignment. Even with the Borgeson power steering and aftermarket A/C that you're using, the correct pulleys at the crank should resolve everything without the use of additional washers and double pulleys.
If you could provide pictures of what your setup looks like it would be easier to analyze, as well.

Leif, my pulley at the harmonic balancer is the correct GM 38558555. So that is correct. The add on 3rd pulley is a GM 3765947 and it sits flat against the 3855855
