Hope I'm in the right place. I joined the NCRS when I needed help in finding a C1. I've been a member of the Corvette Forum for many years which was very helpful when modifying my C6. Congratulations on your membership, and purchase!
A few general advice pieces:
1) Determine which is your closest local chapter, and contact them. Fellow chapter members are a valuable resource!
2) Order both the 9th Edition Corvette Judging Reference Manual, and the 1958-1960 TIMJG. Both are available here online through the NCRS store. The Judging Reference Manual tells you how we judge; the TIMJG explains what we judge for your specific model year.
3) Have fun and enjoy your car!

Welcome to the NCRS. Some good advice in the previous posts, contact / join your local chapter, invest in the NCRS publications for your car, ask questions but most of all enjoy your car!

You will be amazed at the knowledge, the willingness to share and helpthat this organization contains,the knowledge and the people are second to none. May I suggest as you have a C-1, the ST -12 service manual should be your “go to” point of reference for anything pertaining to your “ new” car. As stated above remember this is supposed to be fun. Enjoy the ride.
