Correct Argent Silver for rally wheels?

Is there a consensus on who provides the best Argent silver for rally wheels? They all seem to repackage with their own wrapped label, so it is hard to tell who stands alone. Thanks.

The last time I ordered some, it came from Long Island Corvette. I bought a couple of cans as I knew before long it would not be available in as good a match. Maybe Zip has some left over from LIC?

FWIW, I recently purchased a rattle-can of Argent Silver from a Corvette vendor. When I received it, I noticed that on the can it was described as a "wheel coating", not as a paint. I used it to repaint a spare wheel. Color was pretty accurate, but I have no idea about it's durability, nor what's in the liquid's mix. It could be another example of a manufacturer cheapening it's product, but not lowering it's price = instant profit increase. When you purchase, you may want to look for "paint", not "coating". FWIW

Krylon and Seymour both made a good match, but I cannot find the original formula for each of these products. I am using Eastwood argent silver which is a very good match.

I've used this paint with very good results. Judging included. Frank Tetro shared me with the reference years ago. However I cannot recall where he got it from.

Omni-Fill AP-11029N Rally Wheel Argent Silver Enamel. A search tells me the name may now be Omni-Pak. e.g. HERE
Which I think is a custom mix from the supplier he got it from.

Actually I think you will find most if not all wheels are enamel Reason DOGS After 40 years selling to paint companies you learn something. Of course for every rule there is an exception
