65 Headlight (on/off) switch installation

Any tips to installing the HL switch in my 65 coupe by myself. Need to align the front of the switch into the cluster and at the same time, start the circular collar nut into the front of the switch. I am attempting to complete this by myself.

Dave, if you have the correct original switch or even a reproduction it will only go in one direction. Hold the switch with the tab to fit the notch in the bezel and tighten the nut down.

Dave,
Once you get the switch in its approximate location from the backside, move up top and reach in with your left hand and push the switch forward while feeling and watching from the front for the tab to catch the cluster, then it's pretty easy to get the barrel nut on and tighten.

Dave plug in the wiring block before you put the switch in. If you have AC you will have to o drop the duct.
