I was on a trip and after 500 miles of an 1800 mile trip I noticed a squeak every time I shifted gears. It only happened occasionally for a while then more regularly. I decided it was the throw out bearing so decided to drive the 500 miles back home to get the BB. On the way home "500 miles" it only made noise twice. I have the trans. slid back and the throw out bearing removed. The bearing spins fine with no roughness or hang ups. I have been told that pilot bearings don't make noise like that. I replaced clutch assembly including pilot and throw out 8,000 miles ago. Any one have any ideas?
