Does this look like an original windshield bases on the etching. 63 June build, convertible.

"LC" date code would decode to March 1963.

Windshields are judged re Standard Deduction Guideline #4 - within 12 months prior to vehicle assembly.

That makes sense. The indirect question was related to whether I actually had factory tinted glass, which at this point appears to be true. Thanks for the reply.

Tom, In 63 you could also just get the Windshield tinted. The rest of the glass could still be clear.

Yes, that is the case based on the etching on the doors and vent glass. Windshield only.
