1969 Floor Mats

I have a set of new clear vinyl floor mats that are supposed to fit this car. However they dont lay like I think they should, nice and flat without the edges curving up etc.. Can anyone who has an original set shoot a pic for reference please

Try relaxing the material with a heat gun or hair dryer.

You will face this problem CONSTANTLY with these mats. They are made of a plastic material that is very stiff at all but the most elevated ambient temperatures. Miserable. I bought mine shortly after I took delivery of my original owner 1969. I foolishly suffered with them for many years. Finally, I bought a later model year set of Corvette mats from Chevrolet which were black rubber. At least these laid flat but they "rode up" and interfered with pedal operation. So, I had to trim them.
