"Keep your GM car all GM" sticker

There's been discussion about the correctness of emission labels lately. Seems to be a problem in terms of correctness.

For the "Keep your GM car all GM" sticker I have a different angle. Over the years I've bought 2 or 3 of these stickers and applied them to my air cleaner. As shown they peel off. I am certain that I've used more than one vendor.

So here I am just asking if there's a sticker out there, perfectly correct or not, that will stay attached? I want it to look nice. Peeling stickers just don't. Thanks!!

Have you tried adding adhesive?

3M multipurpose adhesive, good stuff.

Are you suggesting that the adhesive only be on the sticker? I've used the 3M stuff but as a contact cement I highly doubt that I'd be able to '" get the adhesive onto the air cleaner then place the sticker on without having adhesive show. In the end that may not look any better. Perhaps there's an application method I haven't thought of. Any additional thoughts are welcome!

3M spray glue works great .. spray on sticker than apply DONE !!
