70 Big Block Rear Lift Bracket

It looks like Chevy used two different big block rear brackets in 1970. I have installed a rectangular bracket about 3.4 inches long, and the vacuum advance hits it. I found a shorter bracket with the top corners cut off that looks more like Figure M 7.17 in the 6th Edition of the 70-72 Judging Guide. Here is a link to it:

    Does this bracket look correct?

    Thanks,
    Allen

That short, clipped corner bracket is what my '72 bb has.

        Allen,

Are you ordering this bracket from Classic Industries? If yes, let me know how it works out. I need one too.

I first ordered the brackets from Jegs through ebay. The picture on ebay was what I needed. Jegs sent me the long rectangular one instead, so I after waiting four days for it, I returned that one to Jegs. Here is a picture of what they sent:

I then ordered the brackets from Classic Industries, and the one they sent looks correct to me. A picture is shown below:

I just noticed that Classic Industries got the brackets from Paragon. They are part number 2207K - BRKTS 68 - 74 ENGINE PULL BB EXC 3X2.
