I have a 2 hairline cracks that are about 1 to 1.5 inches long has anyone used PC-7 or some other 2 part epoxy to repair this type of crack? They are surface cracks and not through the panel.

Re: PC-7 for repairing hairline cracks?
I used it to rebond the lower part of my rear quarter splash panel on my '65. I mixed it and put it in a disposabe calk gun tube to apply it. It mixes to a medium gray consistancy. It worked great! I bought it through Amazon.
Are you making the repair from the back side of the panel or or on the outside painted surface?

Re: PC-7 for repairing hairline cracks?
Nice photo James, I have been using PC-7 for an eon. The company also has one for boats and underwater repairs. PC-11
For the '58 to '65 fuel injections I use it to epoxy the welsh plug aka nickel on the side of the fuel bowl. But I do it so no one can tell.
Use a heat gun to mix it. It takes a day or so to get hard as steel. I just used it to fix my favorite green garbage can for my vendor trailer.
It does have shelf life. Buy in the smallest tubes.
My friend used it to repair a crack in his tractor engine block. Many years ago and its still doing the job.- Top

That looks good. I have used J B weld and cut a V if I could not get to the back side. 40 years so far and no cracks. Use the slow, but I think you have about the same thing.
