    '69 TI Harness Routing

    Hi everyone.

The AIM shows the TI wiring harness running along the LH fender all the way around and behind the brake boaster or master cylinder and then along the top area of the firewall. The one I removed ran along the LH fender but then took a dive at the horn relay to go below the master cylinder/boaster and then back up to the coil area. Which is correct? The harness seems too long to take the route in the AIM.

Same question for the A/C and Power Window leads. They both drop down the firewall and then come up to the horn relay from underneath crossing under the the brake boaster.

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Re: '69 TI Harness Routing

Okay, so after more research I can answer this one myself. I haven't seen any pictures of a '69 engine compartment showing the TI harness running around the upper area behind the brake boaster bundled with the vacuum hoses. Also, looking at the subsequent K66 AIM page (attached), it seems to show the harness running lower since it's close to the firewall grommet where the TI wire runs into the interior. I also have 20 year old picture when the engine compartment was restored and the TI harness and the A/C and PW wires ran along with the engine harness under the master cylinder area.

Also regarding the A/C and PW leads, the AIM shows them running with the engine harness under the master cylinder area.

If anyone has a '69 that differs from what I've described please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Jack
