    "decals"

    63-64 6TH Edition states base engine 250 hp, have no decals indicating hp.

    63-64 new 7th Edition states base engine 250 hp & L 75 300 hp motors have no decals indicating hp. Which is correct, in other words does the 300 hp have decals indicating hp.

    Yes, the 300hp engine has a decal. The base engine 250hp engine does not.

      john: stop out at my shop. i probably have the 300mHP water soluble decals, which u can have, on the house. mike mccagh

        After reading this info on the 300 hp. decal I checked and mine are missing. There is evidence of one being there. Were they peel and stick, or the kind you soak in water first to transfer? Thanks

          The originals were the water soluable ones that you soak for a short period of time and install.

              originals were water soluble, & you can purchase stick on if you wish

                  bruce is correct. mylar receives a deduction. water soluble decals are as originals. mike
