Yes, very interesting.

Paraphrasing: "at least 2000 restoration shop hours". Given the state it was in, I'm surprised it wasn't much more... but the cost of that! I do like that the trunk and steering column was left unrestored though I suspect some people would see that as poor workmanship.

I was left with some confusion on who the current owner is. Is it the woman (niece(?) of Campbell) shown in the video? And, what was happening to the car between 2015 and Billy Jay's taking it on?

Great video! Just as an FYI for newer NCRS members, the George Campbell they keep mentioning was NCRS member #17 and had a registry called "IREC" - International Registry of Early Corvettes which was part of early issues of the Restorer. Thanks again for sharing.

17:38 mark "Stamped out a new VIN plate and got a new title" Not sure I'd want to admit to that possible felony.

IN AZ you can't even replicate the Fed door sticker without breaking the law. If The AZ DPS "Rattler" Task force saw that they would seize that car. https://difi.az.gov/arizona-vehicle-theft-task-force

At the 2018 AZ Regional they were invited to give a presentation. It was very enlightening and a bit scary for us restorers.
