What a very nice car and welcome to the club!
I agree with David who posted above and highly recommend that you purchase the new 3rd Edition of the 75-77 TIM&JG. It is the latest and most up to date edition. There are 266 pages full of valuable information, color photos, footnotes, tables, charts and even GM Service Bulletins. In my opinion there is no better way to get to know your car than to go through each section in the manual and use it as a GUIDE to evaluate your car. However, keep in mind that you may find things on your car that don't match up to what is in the manual...that doesn't necessarily mean it's not original or correct. DO NOT CHANGE anything in question to match what the manual states in these instances and there will be some for sure! Just make a note of it and ask questions about it here on the discussion board. Someone will surely help or steer you in the direction of someone who can. As others have noted above don't touch anything on it and try to get it to a local Chapter Meet and have it judged. The process will be a great learning experience for you as well. If you really feel motivated to go over the car on your own beforehand, scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on the link that says Judging Scoring Sheets. You can search for the 73-77 Scoring Sheet samples and print them off. Using these, you can pair them with the TIM&JG and go over your car.
BTW, if that is an original rubber seal on your air cleaner (I can't be certain, because I can't tell from your photo if it has the ribs going around it on the inside) consider yourself one of the very lucky ones. It appears nearly mint. Usually, they are smooshed over on one side.
Good luck with your car.

                Anthony,
Not sure about the little X's but here are a few photos of an original 73-75 air cleaner to hood seal. Check out the arrow pointing to the ribs that run around the inner circumference of the seal. Only the original factory seal has these. No reproduction seals have them...they are just smooth rubber. Also note the seam on the originals with the cloth tape only on the outside of the seal seam, as well as some original weatherstrip adhesive residue used to hold the seal in place. Many, or most repros are just one piece. Can't say that I notice a seam in yours unless it's on the driver's side?( not too clear in your photo). Again, just trying to help and by no means Judging your car here on the forum.
These are the kind of detailed pics and info you'll find in the new 75-77 TIM&JG 3rd Edition when you get it.

I would be curious to see the engine stamp pad. I know you're working on how to upload photos but see if you can get that engine stamp pad uploaded.
