clutch cross shaft

Replaced nylon bushings and felt on frame side of the clutch cross shaft. However, on engine side of clutch cross shaft is there a nylon bushing inside for the end of the engine ball stud to ride on? Or is it made so the interior side if the shaft rides on the side of the ball and when the engine torques it is able to pivot without a bushing.
Just making sure before I reassemble. No manual I have shows or talks about one and mine does not have one inside.

There is no nylon bushing on the engine stud assembly. As you assumed, the interior side of the shaft rides on the side of the ball. I lubed both studs with graphite grease when I redid mine. Also, filled the cross shaft with chassis grease.
