Disregard! After taking a break for dinner, I got the rag joint installed. Sorry for the false alarm.

i'm ready to install a new rag joint (coupling and clamp), but need some suggestions for the proper sequence. The gear box has been rebuilt and I have it loosely bolted on the frame. I haven't tampered with the steering column or shaft. There doesn't appear to be enough clearance between the steering box shaft and the steering shaft to fit the two pieces into place. Do I need to completely remove the gear box from the frame, put the two pieces into their respective places then lift the box (with coupling) back to the frame? The master brake cylinder and booster are out of the car. I'm working by myself, but might be able to kidnap a neighbor if necessary.
Thanks,
Mike
