    69 coupe carpet

I'm in the process of replacing the carpet in my 69 coupe. The carpet I bought from top flight reproductions is no where close in size to the original. I don't mind t******* but the piece that goes on the rear floor and up the back wall is too short. The original went all the way up to the bottom of the deck panel and needed to be fitted around the rear glass tray. I haven't tried the wheel well or front floor pieces yet. I bought the top flight last year and can't return it and now getting around to install it since the weather is warmer and found this out. First picture is the original 69 carpet and the first Al Knoch carpet I installed in 1979. Second picture is the A.K. and the top flight carpet. Bite the bullet and buy another Al Knoch's carpet? Or ACC carpet? Which one is the better choice or is there another vendor?
    Thanks.

Do you have the entire original set you are removing?

You could clean, re-dye and reinstall your original. Guaranteed to fit, and cheaper too.

A good idea about dyeing, but it is too worn for that. I was looking on Al Knoch's and Auto Custom Carpets's websites. Unless they use generic pictures, the AK rear carpet looks the same shape as top flight's while the ACC looks more original in shape (has the 2 "ears" vs being straight cut across the top). The ACC has a hi beam switch pad while my original carpet does not. And the ACC is available with or without a toe pad- whatever that is. Looks like neither have the binding of the rearward side of the front floor pieces like my original carpet. Is one better than the other?

Whatever you do, ask for samples of various blues, and pick the one closest to your original color.

Do NOT rely on "their" color. The carpet companies have a poor track record of correctly matching the correct shades of blue. However, that doesn't mean they don't have it in stock and use it for another year car.

I heartily second Patrick's advice. Pictures of colors do not suffice.

Is this piece different between a coupe and a convertible rear floor carpet? The first picture is the original GM carpet. The second is the Al Knoch carpet I bought in January 1980 called bright blue. The third picture is January 2022 Al Knoch called metallic blue. Could they have sent a vert piece instead of a coupe piece? I've talked to them on the phone and they assured me that what they sell is ncrs correct. I sent them pictures showing the difference but have not yet heard back.
