i've had success at flea markets. blades of the 50's and 60s sometimes have the rubber end tips and the blades themselves , while not necessarily the correct lengths for c-1 and c-2's, serve as donors of the rubber ends. they are getting harder to find. good luck in your search. mike mccagh

the rubber tips ,when inserted properly, prevent the rubber wiper blade from leaving its home. it prevents the blade from sliding off its home base. i believe they were used from 53 thru at least 63. mike mccagh
