Recognize These Pieces ?

I was recently given a shoe box of mostly NOS C-1 body trim parts, some of which were still in original GM wrappers and boxes. I'm trying to identify the two pieces in the attached photos. I think they are stainless and appear to be a right and left side. They are about 12" long. I'm not even certain they're Corvette or GM, but everything else in the box was. Any ideas ?

58-61. Backing plates for side spears. Fit in the cove area.

Makes sense as I have the 6 side spears in the original GM wrappers. Thank you.

If these were NOS, wouldn't they be black?

I don't know. As I said, they were in a shoebox with other C-1 trim pieces, some of which are still in original wrappers and box.
