    Future

    Don
I have to ask what could be more technical than wanting to know what the new director has planned for our club ? Those of us who use this forum like to know things quickly and waiting for information in our bimonthly publications just takes to long. Respectfully Bill 35 + year member

      Re: Future

It's not technical its administrative. The question that should be asked, and answered by detractors is "what transpired eighteen months prior to the election that contributed to five board members voting for change of administrations?" Think about it! Grievances built up prior to the election. That has yet to be considered by the resistance group.

        Re: Future

I made a misteak 33 + years . No club no technical. Agree what was wrong in the first place? why do we need a new direction? the only change I would like to is a regarding a few parts. Loss of points for non original batteries and tires.

          Re: Future

I do think it is time we members get more involved with our board members. After all, we elect them to represent us and so they should answer to us. I realize it is a 5 to 4 board on this decision (and one was not elected), but if your board member did not represent you, you should ask them why.

Refer to Keith Kibbie's excellent article, on Evolution of Early NCRS, in this quarters RESTORER magazine (V48#4 page 39). 1981 Matrix Judging System with Standard Deductions for "Perishables". Guidelines seemed to have worked for 40+ years, but perhaps with parts availability things need modification.

                    Tom,
How about helping the rest of us out and elaborating a bit on what you are referring to in the following statement:

"what transpired eighteen months prior to the election that contributed to five board members voting for change of administrations?"

By my calendar 18 months prior to the election puts us at Convention time or a little later in 2020 when NCRS was pretty much shut down because of the pandemic. What exactly happened at that time that you believe explains or justifies what happened in Florida?
                    Mike
