    Posi rears 1955-1964

    I have seen posi rears with a large ( wide ) letter P and narrow P
    Does anyone know why the difference?

      Corvettes only used narrow "P"; wider "P" was passenger car only. Some passenger cars also used the skinny "P". That had to do with the plant that cast the units--the plant that supplied St. Louis used only the skinny "P".
