65 Coupe upper and rear window channels replacement

I've decided to replace these channels. I did it once before but long ago. I have the door panels off. I removed the two screws holding the lower channel in place. I have popped the upper channel beads out of the door frame. How do you remove the rear lower channel? Must the vent window assembly be removed?

I have done it several times over the last 50 years with different cars (all 67s). In each case, except the first, the car was completely apart. The doors were gutted. You may have to remove the door glass but I would try it without first.
I know you can remove the rear lower channel that the run (fuzzy) fits in. There is a screw at the bottom of the run that goes into the channel that you will have to remove, then you should be able to pop the run clips out of the channel. I think the lower window glass stop is part of the channel so once you get it out you should be able to lower the window a little more to give you room to get the run out. You do not need to remove the ventilator to remove the window glass if it comes to that.

Near the top of item 4, the rear, lower, vertical metal run, there is a slightly elongated hole where a bubble clip from the upper horizontal/rear vertical fuzzy channel inserts. In my experience, you cannot disengage that one bubble clip without unscrewing two screws #5 that attach the window sash to the slide in the window regulator. After removing screws #5 (with the window rolled all the way up or almost all the way up) and two screws #19, the window can be rolled down and tge bottom of the side window can be scooted outward from the window regular slide and at the same time scooted out of the forward and rear vertical fuzzy channels, and the window can then be moved slightly forward, inside the door cavity, when the side window is rolled all the way down. Once the window is scooted forward, and sitting at the bottom within the door cavity, the upper horizontal/rear vertical fuzzy channel (item 1 in the 2nd sketch) with its 9 or 10 bubble clips can all be disengaged, and the rear, lower, metal vertical run (item #4 in the first sketch) can be extracted. So, the side window does not need to be full extracted from the door, and nothing needs to be done to the vent window frame. Although it can sometimes help to remove the one flanged nut securing the very bottom end of the front vertical run which runs up to the back side of the vent window frame. I hope this is understandable.

I have started with the driver side. While removing the upper and rear channel, the stainless rods broke away from the cloth( which I found to be typical). I cut the channel where it goes down into the door. I removed the door inspection cover and with the window rolled up, I was able to remove the lower metal channel through the inspection cover opening.

What did you do to install the green bubbles securely into the metal track? To reinstall the track, I intend to remove the window channel fasteners and drop the channel down through the back of the door with the window down. I must be careful not to stress the channel where the stainless rods fasten to the cloth.

Did you fish the entire assembled channel through the access panel first with the window up and then lower the window to fasten the lower fame to the door or did you fist fish the lower channel down at the back of the door?

Working within the main window opening,I installed the big, 90 degree, curved metal backed fuzzy channel, with the window either out altogether, or with the glass sitting at the bottom inside the door, and scooted forward a bit. You can do it either way. Then I put the window back in place in the front and rear fuzzy channels, got the sash studs into their holes in the window regulator sliding track, then rolled the window all the way up, and from the access panel then installed the rear, lower vertical metal channel.
