expansion tank date

my '61 built Dec. 1960 has a radiator expansion tank dated 60L, which i not iisted in my copy of the technical information manual (1/2015, 6th edition, 1st printing), but may have been since amended. do you know if this date has been added? I've owned this car since 1969 and don't believe the tank was ever replaced.

Gene, To my knowledge there is not an amendment or clarification for that manual. I assume you are referring to the next to last paragraph (titled Line 4) on page 236. My suggestion is that you submit pictures and documentation to Dave Heitzman, 1961 - 1962 National Team Leader. Good luck, Don H.

You have owned this car since 1969, that leaves plenty of time for a previous owner to have made a change.

The list in the manual comes from cars with known history.
